Default Cost to get tires mounted and balanced?

What do you guys normally get charged to have old tires removed, and new one's installed and balanced?

This is if you bring the wheels/tires to the shop.

last 2 tire changes have been bf/goodriches from costco, removal is free, mounting and balancing is included with the cost of the tire (~$90 each)

i know my tires are probably alot smaller than what you guys use (225s! ) but even a 275/35/18 would be free for removal, mounting, balancing

just to mount tires i already have on wheels i bring to them has been around $10 a wheel

I think I got away for under $30 a tire for mounting when I had them put on the 951... I can go dig out a receipt if you really want an exact number... Sears in Virginia Center Commons right around the corner from my house...which reminds me, I need to get back over there for an alignment again...

$100. Remove old tires, mount new tires, balance. This is for wheels/tires that are carried in, already off the car.

Local shops here charge from $1 per inch (wheel diameter) to $30 per wheel. This is bringing the new tires in along with the car they are going on, or bringing in the new tires and wheels (tires mounted or not).

I got mine done for 12.50 a tire. That got a tire removed, new one put on, and a balance, all without scratching my painted phonedials.

My local Wal-Mart is cheap, but I didn't trust them with my freshly painted 993 Hollows. I had a friend of a friend do it at the local VW dealership. Cost was right at $105 bucks. This was bring in 4 tires and 4 wheels. Just mounting. No tires needed removed. Awesome job and very minimal installation marks on the insides of the barrels.
