Default advices needed on my build!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pictures

Okk guys, today was a big day of work, engine is totally dissasembled,

well so far,

i need a new clutch, i need advice on which one to get and where to get it.
i plan on lightened/resurfaced the stock flyweel, how many pounds should i get off?

i plan on running 15-18 psi, i got a lindsey turbo super 61,
maf kit, 3 inches from turbo, chips, mbc.....

im putting new pistons, new piston rings, new rod bearings, new Balance Shaft Bearing, new lifters... carrilo rods

so far, my thought my mecano and I is to put je pistons 100,5
what you think?

pistons rings, no idea for the brand...??????

were bringing the " heart of engine" to a shop, they will clean it and oversize for piston size,

we might get the balance shaft rebalanced dependin

thx for the help guys,

i will add pictures tomorrow,

ps: excuse my english mistakes

do a search on alusil bores and pistons.
Lots of info out there....
you can't run uncoated JE's in an Alusil bore.

If you are already dealing with Lindsey Racing do yourself a huge favor and just have them build the motor for you. You will find out that alot of machine shops have no idea about alusil motors. Also I would go with Vitesse for your chips and MAF.

some people like too build engines themselves rather than send them off too a shop and have them do everything. I think chris whites advice is the best, research the engine more before jumping into it. figure out exactly what you need and what you need too do.

im living in mtl, i dont want to mess with shipping a block to the usa and dealing with custom and all.....

i already have lindsey maf and chip,

my pistons, pistons rings, rod bearings, balance shaft bearing, head gasket, have to be change,

my thought would be to go a little bigger since everything is dissasembled????

i got no clue how much it cost to rebalance the balance shaft, if its too much money, its simple, i wont do it...

OK, we are yanking your chain, the balance shafts don't get rebalanced (unless you are into building really odd motors!)
BTW - I had a customer that drove down from Quebec last weekend, its not that far...
That being said - if you want to stay in Canada then give Markus Blaszak a call (search for Blaszak precision)

i just want a 2.5 a lil bigger than stock... thats it

is Blaszak precision doing engine stuff?

i will give him a call about my steering rack that needs a rebuild.. but about engine?

I have a hunch that you might not know what the balance shaft is... or that you have 2 of them.

Lindsey racing is in California. Chris is near Syracuse, NY.

OK. Next advice. Have Chris build your bottom end for you and let you build the rest if you are into that. Also If you are going to modify your motor that much, you will want to go with the Vitesse system that will adjust with your mods.
