my car does not have them- they also keep heat off of the castor blocks as well.

Thanks, man.

Mine came to an unfortunate end on the way to my builder/tuner, last weekend.
I hit a recap/gator shred, about 2' long and 6" tall in the middle of I-95.

Splitter survived, no problem

Skid plate was destroyed
