Good Job Travis.... Nice to meet you.
I spent a few hours at the fest today - had a great time, but it was almost TOO beautiful of a day (I had to get back home for a cruise around the lake...).
There were some really amazing cars there & a nice diverse selection of track cars. I have to say that I think my favorite "Fest" car was Kevin's monster 968. But there were 4 or 5 others that were stunning also.
Unfortunately the tour started up not long after I got there, so I didn't have much of a chance to meet everyone - but it was good to see those that I knew.
Here's a sh*t load of pictures for those who couldn't make it. Please don't take offense if your car isn't here!! I probably took a picture, but it takes too long to upload the big file to the image site...

This GT2 lost it quite seriously on the last turn - after a screetchingly loud & nail biting few moments it's *** ended up a few inches from the pit wall. Fresh under shorts were promptly delivered & he went back out...

Those British red necks must have been using a telescope!
I love the picture of you holding me up at the chicane.

Grand Champ 2009 (cop magnet) :
My 951 stand-in vehicle with Dan/Alan's:
Congrats to the trophy winners, all well deserved. Would like to have seen the brown 944 n/a get a trophy as that car was real clean. Had a great time as always, thanks to all who made it possible (Trav, Dan P, Skip, Nelson Ledges, etc...) Cya next year...maybe in the correct car?

So what are those hot air balloon looking things? Of course the answer is probably "hot air balloons". Fire inside? They look cool.
I should have flown back for this. Hell I should have driven back for this. 944 is running like a champ right now. I've driven it more in the past 3 weeks than I have in maybe 5 years.
Maybe we can line up a west coast fest in conjunction with a cheap track weekend somewhere. Otherwise I guess I'll just have to finish the 951 and drive it there.
