god those are some fat *** tires lol. looks AWESOME

did it need the 15mm spacer to clear the suspension bolts or was that just to push the wheels out a bit? how much clearance is there now between tire and bolts?

I just did the same thing. 295/30/18s with a 15mm spacer and some longer studs. Without the spacer, the tire rubs the bolt on the spring plate.

The grass is always greener!

Makes me wish I had an early offset car. My 275's look sissy compared with that!
And I love the 2nd gen twist, I want to see them on a dropped black 951 real bad!

Mike- We definitely need more pics (so long as Keith doesn't mind)!

Not to steal any thunder, but Keith, if you're contemplating a 968 hatch...here's what it'll look like! (sorry I only have 285's! ) Rather then clutter this thread, I figured I'd post a link. Quite a few photos of my '91 S2 with OEM Hollows with 285/30/18 rubber.

P.S...I just read the thread and realized you replied first on it! lol

These aren't the 18" cups. Those are perpetually under construction. But here's a few shots of the 3pc twists. I was fighting sunset, so I don't have that bright CA sunshine like Keith. It's riding a bit high for my taste, so we'll need to sort that out soon.

Man, I LOVE that last pic mike! That's a good looking and very clean car. You say you have some 18" Cups for her? Please say Cup II's...

That thing will look awesome with some 18" Cup II's and a lowered stance. I'm not a gold/tan/beige fan...but that car pulls it off well!

Yep, 18" Cup IIs. I actually have 2 sets of them. ( I get carried away sometimes.) One set is standard silver, and the other set was on MPD's car. They were bronze, but I'm working on changing that.

With the Cup IIs and a splitter it will look like a clone of Kyle's former ride.

Thanks for the compliments!

The wheels look fantastic!

The cars do seem to be riding a bit high? Or is that an optical effect?
