I think you're right Sid. Especially with the lightening bit. Yesterday at another track I pushed the car really hard and for some reason couldn't get near my previous best time. I have to decide what to do with this car now. Really it needs to either stay as a road car and build up a trackcar or strip and cage this one. Finances may dictate the latter which I didn't want to do.

Compared to what? Changing gears with your weaker arm on the steering wheel...usually?

Nice video, thanks for sharing

I especially like your A/C off reminder I've done that also, done a whole session with the a/c on.

Patrick,

think long and hard about sacrificing this car. By the time you do everything to it, it will be down to a tub anyway.

IMO start with a tub, cage it, and swap suspension bits over along with whatever other parts you may want for it to be light.

I have made many cars into race cars in the past, and not been happy afterwards when I want to drive them.

You do get some interesting cars on those mid week days. Good cross section plus a lot of them haven't seen a 951 either.
We go through that corner at about 110-120mph. It's fun but you have to concentrate otherwise it wants to push you out and into the grass.

Not really my bag Waqqas. I'm too scared about the driveline. Perhaps if I bulletproof this and lighten the car, or do the trackcar thing. Be nice to know of course.

Thanks for the nice words guys. Oh and Anders, maybe you have a strong hand because you're single? hehehe
