You can see plenty of pics on this page with the alternator mounted.

I am finally getting some time to finish up this (and Rob R’s “twin”) engine, its been in the works for quite a while.
The most recent addition is the Lindsey Racing dry sump parts. I was just about to start up the fabrication of the brackets to hang the Pump I have had here for 2 years (!) when I went to the Lindsey site to order some stuff for a customer’s engine. I saw the pics of their dry sump set up a recognized the same pump (really expensive high end pump made by a west coast guy that used to work on the old Nissan GTP program). In addition the Lindsey set up was configured in exactly the same way I was going to do it….no need to reinvent the wheel and the Lindsey parts are very high quality. I talked to Dave and ordered up some parts and offered to help with any ‘dialing in’ of their system.
The alternator hangs off the other side of the pump bracket and the power steering will remain (I don’t really care for non power steering set ups for a car that will see 4 run sessions for 3-5 days in a row)!
I used my own modified pan, made up my oil lines (BTW- I hate stainless steel lines – they will abrade their way though aluminum real fast!). The black hose is lighter and just as tough (a little more $).
Some specs –
3.1 liter – Wossner pistons/ Arrow rods
16v with twin adjustable cam gear
SFR intake
GT35R turbo
SFR 4 into 1 header
Lindsey dry sump parts
Stuff not on the engine yet – full electric water pump stock pump delete)
Lindsey 16v solid lifters (still in development)
Electromotive TecGT
The head in the picture is just a ‘mule’ head as I am finishing up the 16v head with Ferrea valves, special springs, Spacers, Ti retainers and coatings.
Should be in the car for track season….
