interesting! but I still think you should have gone for the full width
too bad a wingless rear hatch is so ugly my eyes starts to bleed.
a tiny 968 lip and side trims would make it look good again

I agree with you Duke on the little bit of lower wing needed aesthetically. Not sure aerodynamically? What do you think of a little wing? We could probably do something.
As for the really wide one, well this is a street car and even though it will be a moveable hatch w wing too, I don't want to go completely overboard on a jumbo thing. We can always update later too if we feel the need. It doesn't look too small from the rear either.

Thom, you're being too cryptic. Expand your opinion. Bigger is not always better. Maybe we could go bigger but this is pretty good and should offer plenty of downforce over and above the stock rubber part.

Don't think the air is to clean if you have it mounted that far back on the hatch, would think you would get seperation on the underside.

Looks mean!

have you tried it on the track yet? Just wondering if the front end pushes now?

Agree with Thom - Too small! No I'm sure it looks huge and it's a good starting point. But you talk about switching hatch when going to the track so in that perspective you could do an all out racing wing, even though it's a street car.
So will you be fabbing up a stand for it similar to hp18racer?

Looking forward to hearing your results. I need a large wing myself, I'm torn between the different choices or lack there of..

Sarcasm.

Wing looks mean as all hell. I agree with a lower portion needed for aesthetics though.

Sarcasm indeed.
Regardless how better than any other wing it will perform I think this is way too far for a car that is supposed to be used mostly on the street - it totally ruins your otherwise great-looking car Patrick, but then that's just me and I hope you are pleased with it.
