Ian,
Let me see what I can do. I think this unit was disassembled last Thursday or Friday....I may have some pics with the supports just hanging down, but it would give you an idea...

This looks like a great piece
I'd be interested in seeing some pics from other angles, such as a straight profile shot of it installed under the bumber.

Right no it's hard to tell how far it sticks out. Does it protrude longer than the most forward point of the bumber?

Duke,
This unit has already been removed and sent to a team for "fun" testing.

We are in the process of forming another one today, and will have more pics up this afternoon/this evening.

I will take several angles, as well as including some "measured" pics. Hopefully this will help

From the PCA rule book:

G. Spoilers and bumpers/air dams are free providing they do not exceed maximum factory body width by any amount, maximum factory body length by more than 1 inch, or maximum spoiler height of the vehicle by more than 6 inches. Turn signals, headlights, running lights and tail lights must be retained in any bumper replacement.

Hey Patrick,
If you haven't already done this, could you try a high speed run without the supports connected? It would be good to know if the supports are required to prevent deformation at high speed [<= 130MPH].
If not, then the support issue goes away.

Somewhere in this thread Patrick pretty much says he did exactly this. It will be tested in the field in this manner too.

I've sent two emails, to the address above, thus far with no response.

Are they available or not?

If not, let me know. I'll get the new set of AIR splitters fitted and painted up. Racing season is about to begin. No time to waste.

Thanks,

TonyG
