I haven't tried yet, but I thought I would ask before I get started later on tonight. How do I get the headlights to pop up and stay up so I can change the glass and bulbs?

If you need to leave the HL's up for a fair while, you'll drain your battery if you merely pull the key out. So, unplug the plug going to the HL motor and then turn the lights all the way off. None of the lights will be on but your HLs will stay up. You can pull the key out or do whatever at that point.

Or you can pull fuse #2, and use the **** on the motor to manually raise them. Might be a bit safer seeing as the motor can't "accidentally" actuate the headlights while your hands are near them.

Pop the lights up using the switch, pull the headlight motor fuse and they will stay up until you roll em down manually or put the fuse back in. Not a bad idea to do this if you drive your car during the winter as the linkage can freeze and you will constantly blow the fuse out.

I can change a bulb in a few minutes. That's certainly not long enough for the parking lights to drain the battery. Just turn the headlights on, then turn the switch back to only parking lights and change the headlight bulb.
