You know the problem is you're missing the oil pan... Slap one on and you'll be good to go then!

Whew! I'm glad someone else noticed that! Darwin, it's definitely not the gauge. You should check the oli pan. It could be leaky!

It makes lots of neato sounds when you start it without the oil pan! It sounds even cooler when you drive it!

What level did the gauge show?

Replacing main/rod bearings, what a major PITA anyway,... Mine has been sitting for three months for niggles I can't seem to solve, it is driving me f'n mad

I was fibbing with that statement. I had to pull the pan to verify where a leak was coming from

Damn Darwin- you've got a who's who of veteran RLer's in this thread- I hadn't checked it in awhile! I know ALL you guys (on this page at least)! I LOVE seeing so many familiar faces still around!!!
