Car finally has a clutch that works as it should! Could spin the TT driveshaft by hand without transmission installed (I thought the old set-up could have been binding due to everything being new). I'll let you guys know how the southbend set-up holds up.

Did you go with the OFE disk and their higher-clamping pressure plate? That's what I have, and find it to be a much more street friendly set up than my old spec 4-puck -- almost stock like engagement. I have not been able to truly stress test it, however, since I've been having head sealing issues. It held fine up to 18psi (about 400-425rwhp), but I haven't really been able to test it beyond that. The one time my boost controller failed and the boost spiked to over 30psi (around 550-600rwhp I'd guess), something spun (and the HG blew), but it happened so fast I was never sure whether it was the tires or the clutch...

ok.. and no one rides horseback down the streets in Houston, Texas! lol. Honestly, I saw a person doing that through peoples yards last year. Even though I live in Texas, it was still weird.

The one I have is their feramic on one side and an organic (stock-like) on the other. They call it OFE for Oranic/FEramic. Didn't know they offered a Kevlar -- is it supposed to hold more power than the OFE?

I will let you know how it goes.
Today was some pretty descent progress...
Installed:
Front bumper
test pipe
wastegate
cat-back
finished torquing up transaxle
drivers side CV axle
Tomorrow should be even more progress!

Keep us updated on the clutch.
I know of another RLer that has the same setup, only with an aluminum flywheel, and is having problems with the clutch. He's not sure if its the Feramic/organic disk, or something else....but its not up to the task of holding a 400+ HP 951.
I'm thinking about the same setup as well, when I build my motor.... But I am thinking Feramic on both sides.
