Turbo making a new sound

Any idea of the cause of the failure. Heat fatigue? I have a Lindsey Super 65 that I had to have the center section rebuilt because of a leaky seal setup after only 1k miles.

Not really. I was running it hard at the time but the stock unit got the same treatment. It appears a blade failed and ground the tips off of the rest of them. I was thinking something came out of the head but the inside of the blades are in good order. I don't in any way think this is a Lindsey issue, just had a part failure.

Looks just like mine. I found a piece of slag in the cross over pipe, ended up swapping the head and turbo. You definitely need to look in the crossover, headers and head to make sure you don't do the same to the next turbo.
