In racing, splitters are consumables. Buy a six pack.
You might be lucky, but splitters are very vunerable to all kinds of minor impacts. I lost a new GTRacing splitter in less than a lap a while back! That's unusual, but it happens.

Hi all

Thanks for your feedback.

So we have the following rennlisters in for the group buy so far:

Dr. Dynamics
Style Lab
Rluciano

Who else?

Regarding racing application: The splitter is robustly built and is attached to the car using the same attachment points as the OEM batwing so it will definitely stay where it is supposed to and also withstand high speeds, however it also has the same characteristics as any FRP part...it's not flexible when it comes to hard collisions...
to sum it up I don't see any problems regarding racing application but the longevity of the product - as with any other "traditional" splitter - will be limited.

Sideskirts on my car:

They are modified Strosek style ones. We still have some in stock but without the 993 RS style corner bits on the front and rear.

Cheers

Beni

Hi all

We will have the first run finished shortly before Christmas and would plan to ship all of them in one big parcel over to the US as otherwise shipping would be very expensive for you when done on an item per item basis.

So the updated list would be:

Dr. Dynamics
Style Lab
Rluciano
FASTRNU (2x)

Will keep you updated on the progress on the development.

Let me know if that is suitable for you guys.

Cheers

Beni

Hi all

Sorry for the delay on our side but one of our suppliers has moved his unit during January and so did not get much work done.

However, the prototype and the final mould are now done and we can accept orders as serial production is just starting.

May I ask everybody who would like to participate in the first product launch group buy offer to send an email again to sales@deutschnine.com including your invoice address details so that we can send out a credit card payment request from our secure payment gateway.

We can ship all products in bulk end of next week / beginning of the subsequent week.

Cheers

Beni

Bump.

Anyone fitted one of these already?

I need a splitter that creates proper downforce, does this one actually work?

We have sold alot of these but mainly in Europe. I think we have about 10 fitter over in the US so I'll dig out some pics and post later

For now here is one fitted in Thailand on Henk's fantastic track car:

We are in the middle of developing a new splitter also - The new one features the same side trim design as the 993 RS splitter so will look very nice and we will include the batwing on this one plus we are extending the front projection a little more. When I have pics I'll be sure to post
