325hp and 3L capacity is not worth the trouble. You'll have to try and keep the hp down that low. You won't need either plate or peg with boost levels so low for that kind of power.

I've just seen a failure of the concept in that article and it still wasn't that expensive .
By the time you sort it out you would have had to strip the motor a few times. You could still suffer expansion rate differences with that peg. Not saying it can't or won't work either. Let us know how it turns out for you.

A deck plate is less of a concern on the 3 liter blocks since the cylinders are siamesed and the water jackets are more shallow than the 2.5 l blocks.

You know you love me!

Yes ..Yes we do. Thanks for doing that Duke.

Curious if anyone has any updates to the same engine??? Or any engine that has been run for some time using the dowels

That is a very interesting and inexpensive solution if it worked out.

Looking at the picture it looks to me that far more could have been done initially to make sure it was done properly

Sounds like a lot of things weren't done properly on that engine. I don't think it was Zoran's car but I might be wrong. Here's a few pics of his car more recently.

*#%Damn that car is hot!

I think I just had the same expression on my face as I did the first time I saw Liv Tyler's breasts in Stealing Beauty.

Funnily enough I always thought they were her weakest points...and not because they're compact.

The Gold Simmons seem to work well with the Signal Orange car.
