Default My 2.7 liter/Vitesse Stg2/MegaSquirt/Other Cool Stuff build getting close!

I decided to start a fresh thread Heres the link to the old one

https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...t=2.7+big+bore

New turbo oil feed line with a 10 micron filter.

Heres the Bosch 044 pump, hoses, and fuel filter.

Wiring harness partly installed and all the coolant hoses in. And my ugly little bleeder valve made with McMaster Carr parts.

Good stuff. Do you no longer have a fuel pressure dampener?

Nope, decided to ditch it and see how things go. Im going to datalog the fuel pressure with an Autometer sensor and see how steady it is. If I need one, its easy enough to add.

Im thinking about it, but im not sure what the interest is since it wouldnt be cheap. Its also hugely time consuming to make, that right there is about 4 hours I think and I havent deburred it or sanded the sharp parts off.... Still gotta drill the holes for the mounting brackets and pressure sender too. I might also rent out the drill bits and such as a package, im not sure.

The big drill bit for doing the injector pockets is $250 or 275. I rented it for 40 days for $50 or something, then promptly forgot to return it, so its mine now

Some more from earlier this week...

Heres the MegaSquirt so far. Its running off the relays I wired into the fusebox and outputting to the tach flawlessly so far. The Zeitronix will be mounted to that aluminum plate, which then gets bolted to the stock black frame. Everything will be hidden eventually.

Firewall plate installed. Im waiting on some different heatshrink boots to cover the harness to connector part there, to clear the engine.

Yup, I busted the needle Im going to get a used speedo and get the shipper to send it to Norcal Speedo or whatever the name is, for the 959 speedo conversion

Shifter all put together, and the stereo has been running for the last few days haha.

My HVAC is also working perfectly, I guess I put the HVAC box back together properly when I rebuilt it. The blower moves so much more air now that there isnt a an animals nest or two in there (and no, im not kidding.... Ill dig up some pictures).

Ones that someone posted, so theyre for a 2.5 but they should work well enough for me to drive around a bit to break the rings in.
