Some people have gotten 295's on without rolling. I had to do a lot of rolling to get my 295's to fit. It may depend on the wheel and the individual car.

to run 295 on a 11" rim you need ET of around 65 and some rear camber.. it is a thight fit without rolling

My friend Joe has KW shocks (very low car) with 275 slicks up front and 295 slicks rear. 1988 951S. They didn't rub at all when I autoX'd his car last week.

My friend Jared has KW's as well and runs 285's all around. His is an 87 or 88 951 non-S.

On an '86, you pretty much HAVE to roll the boxed fender liners. (if they aren't already) there is almost nothing to it, as long as it's done carefully. Even on the later cars, I would make sure the fender seam is compeltely pinched so that you have as much clearance as possible.

Danno (Guru Racing / RacerX) did a thing on his website about the widest possible rim, and I think 315's in back were mentioned.

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE050a 285/30/18 out back on an 18x10 et 65 rear 993 turbo twist hollow spoke. This is on my '91 S2 (rolled fenders). No outside rubbing, but under very hard cornering, the inside will rub.

I tryed these on my '87 951 (non rolled), and took them off but i wasn't sure if they'd rub the outside or not and its really not worth risking $330 a piece rear tires.
