If everything bolted down then there is no reason to "re-align" the intake and stuff. You can't really bolt them down and have issues. The only thing you can do that I can think of is put the gaskets on wrong and block the injectors.

Ya I just pulled mine, along with the AC Compressor(gonna do an AC Delete) and the steering rack(needed a new one anyway). And the only reason I'm pulling the turbo is because I bought the Lindsey 300 RWHP kit. And I figured while I have the exhaust and turbo out why not do the clutch and flywheel. And if I have the clutch and flywheel out, why not get some transmission work done....

ya theres a 944 turbo sitting in pieces in my garage...

After seeing all the kick *** cars at the Fest this weekend, I am dropping my engine this fall for sure. Much needed cleaning, replace a few things, including main bearings, and if I can find a 27/8 why not drop that in there too!!

When I grow up, I wanna be just like Dan J!

Before my injector connector fix, it would sometimes give a little backfire fart before dying. I now attribute that to the injectors shorting -- which is now fixed. Since you've had the clips on and off the injectors sooo many times I'll bet ya your hundo that one or more of the connectors is shorted inside the boot. See my other post from today... give it a try.
