The turbo is the only base model worth touching, no matter the project.

This car was a pristine 951 when I started the project. That's what makes it so nice :-)

Re: Defecate? you must be referring to all the oil leaks, the head gasket leaks, oil pan leaks, power steering leaks, turbo leaks and the smoking turbos, the 951 turbo "had" in its last life :-)

(not to mention cylinder wall problems, rod bearing problems, rubber-band cam belt problems, balance shaft belt problems....)

I'm referring to all of the 951's that I've owned in the past (including this one).

There's no such thing as a 951 that doesn't have some of those problems. They don't, and never did exist. Thus pristine is a relative term.

Tons of in-car video I haven't had time to convert and get on the web.

Here's a picture of the car on the scales (or rather a picture of the scales)

The car made 390HP and 370TQ to the wheels SAE corrected on a dynojet (basically a stock engine with mild cam, headers, exhaust, ecu reprogram)

Tony, is the rear wing resting only on top of the rear hatch, os is there some supporting structure below the glass?

And if it's only on the glass, how fast have you gone with it...?? ...I'm thinking about the downforce and how much the hatch can take it...
