Default Why I love my 944 Turbo S

This past weekend. I drove 6 hrs to mosport, beat the crap out of the car on those ohh so nice corners 2, 4, 5b and 8 for 2 days. Then drove home in 5 hrs 20 mins. I didn't do anything but buy gas and check tire temps. Eventually I'll trailer, but with gas it was easier and cheaper as long as i stayed out the turbo..........

P.S. I saw 2 people getting it on while driving 70 on the highway in a pontiac sunfire. There are some crazy people out there....!!

You gotta do something to keep yourself entertained while driving such a boring car.

My turbo S has served me so well since 2000. Probably the best car I've ever had.

Isn't Mosport a great track!?

Nope - not solved yet. I replaced the knock sensor, but that didn't fix it either.

Interestingly, it's not triggering any KLR blink codes when it's going into it's "overboost protection" mode. According to some other posts, I think the "protection" is being triggered by the DME... But why???

Van,

Mosport was a great track. My first few runs I didn't get it, till my instructor showed me how to actually drive it. Then I saw the potential. Thanks again for helping me getting the car ready. I couldn't have done it without you.....

I pulled a similar stunt once, I drove from Dallas to New Mexico for a track day. 800 miles, put 120 track miles on it, used a quart or two of oil then drove home. The car worked great.
