Default Looking for a source for the turbo temp sensor...

...connector. I'm compiling a materials list to build a 951 harness. I've located the AMP connectors, wire & terminals, but can't find or they don't exist the small single round pin terminal and housing and the O2 plug. I've searched several suppliers with no luck. Has anyone tried to take the existing OEM connector apart? Thanks

A regular crimp style Bullet connector works perfectly.

My wire broke going to the temp sensor. I managed to take the connector apart, repair the broken wire, and put the connector back together. Only to have it break when I plugged it back into the temp sensor. Your best bet is to find a good piece that is not too brittle and just splice into it. It was a lot of carefull work, only to have it break in the end. It still snaps on, and only I can tell it's cracked. But still....

Right.

Or you can just put a weather-pac on the sensor wire and harness.

do they make a single weather-pac connector? i've only seen double or more. Sources?
Doug - how did you get the thing apart? It looks like there's an inner piece that the butt connector is attached to and an outer shell. Is this what you took apart?

Dennis, go talk to Neil. He and I are going to build some new factory harnesses. He has all the plugs.

Dave - how ironic, I was at Neil's during lunch today and had a great conversation with him. He mentioned he had spoke to you recently and filled me in on your plans, sounds awesome... hope it all works out.
Reason I was in there, is that I'm having problems with my A/F at idle its' at 10:1 and I'm worried about washing out the cylinders and screwing up the bores Neil worked so hard on. I was going to see if he could give me some insights on making a new harness believing my problem lies in the electrical system somewhere. I haven't really driven the car in this condition and Neil suggested doing so to see if the A/F ratio comes up. Any ideas?
