Default Replacing coolant hoses that are NLA

It seems as though there are a couple coolant hoses that are no longer available. Primarily the hose from the electric turbo water pump to the turbo fitting, and the T or Y shaped hose that connects the electric turbo water pump to the reservoir and the hard pipe. The first one is easy to duplicate, not sure about the second one though.

What have people used to replace the T/Y shaped hose? Just use fittings and different size hoses to fab something? Anyone have pics of what they did?

951.106.247.02 I show as still available (water pump to the coolant tank) for the 87 and earlier turbos. I don't know what the difference is for the 88 and later cars, I have never really looked.

This is the setup on my 1988 http://www.lindseyracing.com/mm5/mer...OOLINGHOSE944T

There are only two hose attachment points on the front hard pipe, and the hose is T'd off as shown in the pic. I was told it was no longer available. I was also told #11 in the pic was NLA although I think that one should be easy to duplicate.

www.944online.com had a kit that replaces the hoses that are NLA also. Ian's got the hook-up!

They are not cheap though, around $45, but I can get as many as you need.

Travis seems to have the t-hose. The hose off the turbo was superseded. To use factory parts, you need to get a new fitting for the turbo and the new heat-shielded hose, part numbers 999 230 365 02 (fitting) and 951 106 048 00 (hose). The original set up was a 90 elbow fitting on the turbo with a straight hose, while the superseded version is a striaght fitting on the turbo with heat shielded elbow hose.
