I spoke to him in early spring and he has moved to Cape Cod. Massachusetts lost John Milledge recently but gained a Russell.

It's déjà vu for me. Except you sound like Eyal.

Admittedly I haven't put much effort into trying to get into contact with him, but I wish he was easier to get in touch with. I still haven't gotten my damn maxtronic installed yet...

I met up w/ Russell today. But it seems like this is a pretty busy time for him, looked like he has been doing lots of stuff (working on the house, boat, his kids b-day, etc) but he is alive and kickin' and I'm sure he'll get in touch/deliver - damn nice guy too

Bill, if you have any questions re: installing it let me know. If you search Sharky47 (Daniel) topics started he has pics on the install

I've been wondering the same thing...I haven't been able to get a response since May 17 and have sent him multiple emails.

This has been a pretty common sentiment lately. Sounds like the days of .....committed to delivering the best products and service to the 944 market... is over huh? All that personal attention, commitment to service, and introductory pricing had to end eventually.

That's why I gladly pay more for some of my products as I know that if I need support, information, or someone to brainstorm with my e-mails or calls would be answered within 24 hours regardless of what day it was.

To be quite honest some of you guys are way too lenient on vendors to save a buck or two. I always get a chuckle when there are a half dozen guys who are pissed at a vendor that they're doing business with and then there are a few who say it'll be alright because said vendor is such a nice guy. Danno was a swell cat as well at one point. I guess what some people are willing to accept is really just a representation of current owner demographics. Tim at SFR has great stuff, and John at Vitesse is one of the nicest guys I've ever done business with but if I paid for a product and didn't get it I'd be busting their ***** daily (this is almost like a hobby for me) and if they didn't return my e-mails regarding a purchase I'd take my business elsewhere.

There are other vendors (and site sponsors) who sell a product at least equal, and in my opinion, a bit beter that are willing to take your money without you having to beg for your product.

It really fries my *** when somebody tells me REPEATEDLY that the stuff is in the mail and I wait a couple of more months, because they were nice when they 'told'(I hate to use another word that comes to mind) me that it was coming out today. This is my experience from day one beginning last fall.
