Default is there a high octane unleaded fuel?

ok so ive not found much researching on my own but is there a high octane fuel available for unleaded- i have o2 sensor- cars w/o just adding zylene or something to the premium i already run? Ive seen that Turbo Blue 105oct is leaded and im not sure about CAM2 race fuel- there was a gas station that sold 100 octane years back here but no longer around. Anyone? I'm wanting to try out some tuning w/ high octane before my dyno run at the fest.

Shell used to have 100 octane. I don't know if they do anymore.

sunoco 100, and a few VP. Good rule of thumb is that if it is 104 oct or below it is unleaded. Also if it is advertised as street legal it is unleaded. I run lots of race gas in my car and all unleaded.

I went to a Yamaha dealer where they sold VP racing fuel 104. 5 gallons was close to 50.00 dollars.

VP here in CA has Unleaded and I was also quoted over $50.00 for a five gallon can.

I bought some out of the pump at Willowsprings about two monts ago and it was "Only" $6.00/gal.!

I'm also looking for a dealer in the Santa Barbara/Santa Maria area that is in the $6-8/ gal range.

There used to be a Union 76 Station in Las Vegas north of the I15 on the west end of town that sold 100

at the pump, don't know it it still has...

John.

I've never seen unleaded stuff like this @ the pump but good to know. from what I know, everything over 104 is leaded and will foul your injectors.

Get some Torco Accelerator. 32oz makes 10 gal of 93 into 104.

E85 is the most economical. There is unleaded race gas up to whatever octane you would need however it's very expensive $8-12/gallon. Another option is a 25% Xylene mix, again expensive but ok to use for a dyno run.

If you need over 115 octane, you really should be running on alcohol

Hmmm. http://volvospeed.com/Reviews/torco_accelerator.html

I'm surprised the concentrate is actually that powerful. But looking at other sites, they seem to show the same.

32oz of Torco in a 20-ish gallon tank starting with 91octane could yield you 93octane.

Yes, my buddy used to do this. It actually adds up to being expensive unless you get a large quantity where at thtat point its a pain in the ***.
