What would we do without the eagle-eyed Rennlisters like you.
Perhaps you should write the folks at Mozilla and have them tweak their automatic spell check/spell correction algorithm so that errors such as this can be caught before someone presses the “submit” button (which is not really pressed, but is invoked by pressing the enter key).
Wow.![Embarrassment](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/redface.gif)

I just replaced my Lindsey Racing Super 75 with a Garett GT30R, double ball bearing w/0.63 housing. The Garrett brings on the boost about 500 rpms sooner than the LR 75 and is more responsive. On a DynoJet with 17 psi we pulled 350 RWHP and 300 RWTQ. 17 psi was only achieved above 6000 rpms. The shop told me that I need to replace my manual boost controller with an electronic boost controller to reach and hold the 17 psi earlier in the rpm range. This upgrade is scheduled for next week. We will have to re-tune after the upgrade. Once upgraded, I will run 16 psi max boost for safety.
The Garrett definately improved drivability and this turbo appears to be a good fit for the 2.5L. If anyone is interested, I will post the dyno charts after we retune with the EBC.

dunno where you came up with this from, max boost on my k27/8 is set at 15psi and it hits that at 3500psi, not as quick as some modern turbos but certainly not 4000-4400. a number of rennlisters have run against my car, and seen it on the dyno as well, i'm sure they can vouch for it not being laggy.

A 27/6 on a car with a decent tune will see 15psi by 3200 rpm's. Only a couple hunderd RPM's off my Garrett turbo.
I do however, speak from experience.
