Which MAF for me?
OK...I know there has been a lot of discussion in the past on MAF systems, and quite honestly I don't fully understand the differences and which one would work best for me.
I have an 86 turbo with stock turbo and injectors, GURU chips, boost enhancer, SFR 3"exhaust, cat bypass, downpipe, tial 38mm wastegate, 3bar FPR. I plan on eventually going with a larger turbo.
I don't want to have to be tuning it. I want to install it and forget it. I am not worried about stealth.
Which brand of MAF would you suggest and why?
Thanks,
Chuck
PS: I do have brake and suspension upgrades for those that would suggest that first, but I didn't think they were relevant to this topic.

MAP is becoming an attractive option again via the MegaSquirt (can use as a piggyback or as a standalone) or the MAF Translator Pro (piggyback). Rogue_Ant has put together a nice setup with the latter.

Vitesse All the way, I have bought 3 Maf Kits from him and they have all worked out great. They are all installed on different cars. One I sold a few years back probably has 50K+ miles on it.

Im running similar mods on my 88 : 3inch SFR with cat bypass, GURU chip, Tial WG, EVO BoV, Lindsey MBC, stock turbo and injectors.. Im running the Lindsey Stg 2 MAF and Im happy with it so far. At some point Im adding a better turbo/chips/injectors, but its not in the budget @present.

You can't go wrong with either Vitesse or Scivision. They are both great products. I'm using the Scivision MAF. Truely a plug and play unit which takes 30 min or less to install and "No tuning required". You can use the stock air box or cone filter with this setup.
