Default Temporary injector fix (joke...sorta)

First thanks for the fast replies on my injector issue. I decided to order a new set from www.injector.com.

In the meantime I was just curious to test the limit of JB Weld. I'll know in 12 hours if this actually worked or not. rofl. This is strictly out of curiosity and research so do not try this at home on your fuel system.

I'm not going to do anymore than start the car and check if it leaks. I certainly would not drive it this way. It's good entertainment till the new injectors get here.

... Nice. I've seen some turbo Saturn guys, JB weld their exhaust systems together. Only lasting for about 5k, but that says a lot. I'm sure it can handle this. not saying I advocate it, but if I ever had to myself...

That would never go in my car.

I'd rather leave my car, not driving it than driving it with any kind of risk.

But that's me.

No leaks! I started the car up and let it idle for a few minutes. No sign of fuel anywhere and no more smell(the fuel smell is what caught my attention to the problem originally). I took a drive around the block and the injector was still bone dry.

That said, I have absolutely no plans to drive the car until I get the new set of injectors next week. I would never suggest this to anyone....but in a bind, it will work.
