couldn't agree more. I like having one shop do absolutely everything. The final product is always better. Its part of the reason my car ran so good when it left lindsey. They did everything....

First, I am the "random shop" that worked on Richards car. We did some suspension work, replaced the seats and traced down a problem with his alt guage and oil pressure light flickering intermittently. The car was here for so long because Richard said he was in no hurry and we were extremely busy and if I remember correctly a good portion of that time the weather was too bad to drive it anyway. What we did was pull his intrument cluster to fix his guage problem. We did not go anywhere near his wideband in the center console. If his wideband quite working it was because of whoever installed it! Not because we pulled his instument cluster out. To try and blame an engine failure on that is very unprofessional if you ask me. If I had built an engine that failed after 4500 miles I would have stepped up to the plate and taken care of it. That is what should have happened in Richard's case. Instead, Dave is continually trying to blame other people for a tuning mistake or improper torque of a head. That is most unfortunate. The pictures can tell you alot if you know what you are looking at. The wideband not working is a convienent excuse to not take responsibility for the problem in my opinion.
I do not like to get involved in situations like this. I do not like to comment on anyones work or business practices but I feel like I need to defend myself because I was brought into this mess. I did not create it. I have been working on Porsches since I was old enough to hold a wrench. We have been in busniess for close to forty years working on Porsches only. I will put our reputation against anyone. I am not a "tuner shop" We are an independant Porsche repair facility that does things right. If we make a mistake, we step up and take care of it. That is how you stay in business for forty years workin on one manufacture of cars.
I think it is sad that I had to even post this....

Yep, that's his name. It's been a while.
