just thought i would show you the work of a fellow rennlister in australia, Alastair (//SD951), designed and printed a poster for us. his work is simply amazing, the best we have seen!

To answer a couple of your questions, this is the first time I have done this style of illustration on a car. It is not a quick thing to do as you may be able to tell by the level of detail. I don't have any more pics of cars, but I do have a self portrait I did in the same style (below). I've also attached the image that I started with to do the illustration. I'm a graphic designer by profession - this isn't the usual style that I work in, but I felt it would look pretty cool on Jets car so away I went, i'm glad he's happy with the result and you guys like it too

 

I've seen both his car and the poster up close and both are fantastic Alistair!! I've also seen your car and think you should do a bit of research into Consumer affairs at what those Cowboys did to it up there!! Unbelievable?!?! Anyway Sean's got it running nice from what I hear.

Joe, funnily enough there is someone on a UK website using your car as an example in his thread. I told him that it was a nice place to start with yours being one of the most celebrated and great looking cars in the US.
Sean's car is very similar to yours in quality and appearance. Just over half the hp though...heheh. Sorry Sean. Got some good film today though.

I think this guy has a black car too and was using yours as an example of what he'd like his car to look like plus something about your clear or blacked out indicator lenses? I didn't follow it that closely, just noticed a picture of your car.
