Do they "guaranty" the "standard" GT30R will fit our cars? (w/ 3" compressor inlet, instead of 4") I don't understand why the KKK style housings wouldn't "fit" if the Garrett ones do?

Because I had already cut up and chaged the crossover "up" pipe to fit my 60-1. I could not tell how close a fit my GT30R would have been to the stock pipe. I'm very sure, no matter what, it's just not an easy bolt in install. The center Dual BB cartridge is smaller in all dimensons. Therefore changing any line-up possibilities it may have had. I read on here though, (never bothered to look into it, interesting though) that there are now options for a standard center cartridge to have dual ball bearings. Combine that with a KKK style turbine and you might have a damn good fit. I don't know from fact though as I never bothered to research further.
A simple call to Lindsey or Vitesse might answer most of your questions. And although their turbos might seems a little pricey, If they actually have something like this that bolts in. Figure on Fabrication savings of around $1K (At least what I would charge to do it again.) - Having to Fab Up pipe, mount, Down pipe, Oiling and coolant lines.

A GTBB turbo won't fit. Period.
Even with KKK style inlet flange the mounting on the engine mount is way off.
As 95One said and as I've stated in I don't know how many threads, the GTBB center section is very narrow and also a lot smaller in diameter.
Even with an adapter the smaller GT-turbos don't fit over the mount. Compressor and turbine housings hit the mount.
So... no bolt on affair. But a good one non the less

Its running funky now due to crusty harness. had 1-2psi at 2krpms though! coughed and sputtered at 3k. Re-doing hideous ground cable now. Its shamefull. I'm at the shop now. Mailed off ECU's to get tested. I would post link, but its too difficult on this PDA.
EDIT: I'm home now. Here's the link https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turbo-and-turbo-s-forum/388143-duall-bb-gt30-custom-install-phase-i-finished-phase-ii.html

I really do appreciate the help guys!!
Yes- I posted quite a lot on that thread :-)
I just haven't called any vendors b/c I'm only "tire kicking" right now...
In the long run I want full 3" up/down/jump around/ zig zag pipes ;-) so they'll need fabbed anyways. B/c of that, the extra $$$$ of some turbos is entirely unjustifiable for me.
