They are much smaller, the Lindsey Super 61 is a 60-1.

Mike what hotside and turbine did you run on your 60-1?
Hey, if you mean me my 60-1 hifi has a #8 hotside and the T04B housing. I'm not sure what exact size the turbine or compressor wheels are.

I think I heard at one point that either the super 65 or 75 uses some form of gt35 compressor wheel.

Has anyone every experimented with matching a gt35 hotside with a larger T04s compressor?

I think the super 65 is a T-61 wheel and their sport turbo used a gt30r wheel. The super 75 uses a T-67 wheel. Lindsey uses really nice wheels on all their turbos.

many thanks for all the comments, I'll certainly go to the GT35R, just checking on the hotsides at the moment, not worried about the turbine outlet to the downpipe as that is being replaced anyway.

However would be nice to have a good match of the crossover K26 round style flange to the standard T3rectangular flange on the hotside, just bolting those two profiles together would give a terrible flow transition into the turbine IMHO.

According to ATP they do machined a T3 hotside to partially match the KKK.

or you could get one of those nice TiAL SS turbine housings
They are supposed to be lighter than a normal housing and supposedly they have velocity stack like ports to increase exhaust velocity...and most of all all v-band

The KKK style housings from ATP were designed to fit an Audi engine of some kind. ATP won't guarantee they'll fit our cars, other than the flange pattern itself.

That TiAL SS dual vband housing is a great part, I'll probably use that on my car.

Your right DanG, this is what they told me from ATP re the K26 flange...not exact but close.....

Quote - We set up the machining center to do the best profile we can into it, but it a T3 opening to start with so there is some extra area on the Garrett housing opening where it's not required since the KKK opening is round. There is also a small ridge at the round opening that we do machine into the Garrett entry to mate to the KKK manifold. Most people use as is and some people do hand cleanup beyond our CNC machining because they want it even better. Everyone has been happy.

I own a tialsport GT30R

don't go for the kkk houseing and such, when you put in a GT35R, you/the shop should be competent enough to reweld flanges and make adjustments.

They've been touting those for ages but haven't seen anything for us yet???

PS Mike, you should drop by the workshop soon. There's a piece of art in there at the moment. Well worth a visit...

Art, like what, a hand sketch of ST? Regarding the Tial turbo's. You can get the standard ones but they are often sold out of the popular sizes. I'm going to try one on my street car.

Hey it's a tasteful nude. Some guy called Lartiga has put in a big bid for it too. Wonder why?
