got some of my parts back clean today from the engine cleaner- sanded my intake down so the PC will be alittle smoother, and pulled all of my valves today- wire wheeled the valves, new seals and ground the valves in by hand w/ some compound. Got it all back together and blocked the gasket surfaces so she's ready to go on. Received my LR wires today as well.

got alittle work done tonite- replaced my rod bearings- torqued to 55lbs- new nuts. Cleaned the block up and put the head on -15lbs/40lbs/70lbs torque. Cleaned a few things up and thew them on there. Oil pan is still at the shop getting baffle welded. Dropped the A/C mount and coolant neck off at the powdercoater today as well. Everything is going to look super sick. He is putting three coats in the intake to smooth it out as much as possible besides me sanding it out. Everything gets a clear coat except the black coolant hoses. Cambox is gunmetal graphite w/ sanded letters and then cleared over. All holes etc will be plugged taped or siloconed closed during paint. Hefty price but they do show quality work i assure you. Hopefully i'll have my stuff next week to show off.

so far today- got the balancers all back on, engine mounts, turbo and downpipe, heat shields-had to weld the one under the header. Check out my coolant pipes on the turbo- i trimmed the factory mount off and it bolted right up. Then i bumped it down slightly and it just creased the bottom of the pipe on the cold side of the turbo- hopefully everything clears the intake ok.

putting my headers and crossover on now so she's getting close. Hopefully my stuff will be back from the PC'er soon. Ordered some silicone blue IC couplers to match my blue wires and blue vac hose.
