F/S 86 944 turbo w/rebuilt engine
86 951 140,000 miles Black with Black leather interior, power seats, good carpet, interior in good shape. The paint isn't peeling or oxidized but has chips/dings from use.
Engine rebuilt Approx 700 miles ago, rebuilt head, wide fire head gasket, New lindsay racing stage 2 clutch, rebuilt to4e 55 trim turbo, autothority MAF, 55lb fuel injectors, tial wastegate, ADJ FPR, mix of Vitesse and aotuthority KLR/DME chips, in dash boost controller(under radio) with boost gauge, turbo s sway bars, venturi delete, and several things I am sure I have forgotten.
What needs work: The car is smoking a little. I think I got a bad turbo rebuild. It searches for idle sometimes sometimes it doesn't. Freon was released when the engine was rebuilt so it will need to be recharged. Windshield has crack in lower passenger corner.
Performance wise the car is very fast at 12lbs of boost. The tune is for 18lbs but I have not turned it up yet. I don't have any numbers to give but the *** dyno gives good feedback.
I am asking 11,000 for the car. It is in Fort Payne, AL I will post pics after this weekend. I hate to sell after I have done so much and gotten so close to having an excellent 951 but I bought a boat and an RV. The wife says I have to either build a pool or something has to go.
I can be reached @ 256-996-1632 Dan

I say depending on the interior/paint condition youll only get between $7000-9000 tops!
Is it smoking under boost or in general? Where is the smoke coming from?

I was going to fix the car but have changed my mind. I am going to sell the car as is. It runs and drives great except it smokes like hell. I will not post pics or a price. If you are interested enough to give me a call; we will go from there. The price will be significantly reduced. 256-996-1632 Dan Horton

I think that the turbo has a bad seal causing the smoke. The engine holds good oil pressure, does not have excessive blow by, is not loosing coolant, does not have coolant in oil or vices versa. The head was also rebuilt. My mechanic and I both think it is the turbo. I had the turbo rebuilt. It leaked oil down the downpipe and a little out the exhaust, I sent it back to the rebuilder to be inspected. They were claiming my setup was wrong and the turbo was fine. I put it back on the car and here I am. It is a to4b/55 trim. It smoked like it did before for about a tank of gas then it got worse. I could put a turbo and sell fixed but would rather take a loss and sell to the first person to make a fair offer. I realize there is risk involved with buying old hot rod cars. The selling price will reflect that.
Selling price 7500.00 obo make me an offer on the phone or pm. I will provide pictures to people who are interested enough to call.
