quickie google search indicates

2007 997 turbo:
3483 pounds
3.6-liter 480 hp at 6000 rpm and 457 lb-ft between 1950 and 5000
manual version is claimed to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds
reportedly be maxed at 193 mph

Also keep in mind all wheel drive - alleviates traction issues
also don't know if the car with times from TX mile is stock

Last March Andrew got 152, and somebody named Paul Pieper got 156.05 mph. Both '86s. Last I knew Andrew's car was virtually stock, but that may no longer be so. Andrew has a lot of 1/4 mile experience. I don't know Mr. Pieper.

Since Geff only got a 149.174, I'm thinking Andrew is no longer stock. 'cuz Geff is for damn sure not stock.
