Ryan, before you go you should watch the movie "The worlds fastest Indiian". It is amazing how much speed he got out of that machine... shows what can be done with determination.

Just a smidge under 165mph. Pretty quick there Markus!
ST, I didn't know you switched back to the stock box. So 2 questions. Did you find that back in the days of not much power (cast your mind back) that the stock box was too long from time to time? How do you find the gearing now?
I have almost the same as you HAD and I like it over the stock gearing in many ways, but I figure with a proper working 3.0L with 400hp+ that it may be ok, but with something else with a bit more power that it may be way too short ratio'd.
Joe, remember that in your old box the stock LSD was not sufficient enough for your power. It's just a good factory cruising LSD. I'm surprised it lasted very long at all for you.
Overall I like changing gears so having for example a 6 speed with possibly a taller 6th cog or even a different cw&p would be fine. It's like a rally car.

ST could probably do it in the 1/4 mile.......It would just take him 22 seconds to go that far.

first worry about getting your car all fixed up then worry about the power
Do a couple of test runs so you can get an idea hehe

sorry dude - don't think many know....
I don't know anybody that has run a standing mile in 944T

my gut says 350whp isn't enough for 160. I intend to find out will be my goal HP in street trim come spring.

And hey - don't forget you need safety gear. Don't blow all your cash on go fast stuff
