95ONE's is available in a 56 trim while Nize's is available in 57?
Both are available in a .63 a/r?
A Garret everything except compressor housing. T-3 Garret Turbine housing.

There are many trims and options for the compressor wheels. Mine just happens to be a smaller trim (Bigger inducer) 76mm Exducer. (the 76 in GT3076R) "R" meaning Dual Ball Bearing.

I think the adapter you showed me might be a very close second best. (Edit - perfect adaptor for my needs! ) Should be here in a couple of days.

Thanks again!

Here is my inexpensive oil supply line. I happened to get to a truck supply today looking for a 3" exhaust coupler (clamp around style) for the downpipe and I was also looking to get a few little gaskets and such They were able to get me the fittings and I was going to order an aeroquip #3 line but they happened to have a premade high temp high pressure line there and I got it for 5 bucks . They beauty of this is I can use a nitrous jet to reduce the oil flow if I want just by drilling and filing down the fitting . It is also smaller than the banjo bolt.

getting closer to having the bigger turbo on it... yea.

according to garrett, oil restrictor is required for dbb when converting from journal/thrust bearing.

yeh correct nize but a plain bearing garret requires less oil than a kkk Corky Bells says "no more than 70 psi"

The oil always blows through the seals without the restrictor. .034 hole required.

.034 for a ball bearing i think its is a bit small for the plain bearing .a ball bearing tubo could survive at 10 psi at full load.
here are some handy numbers from "Maximum Boost"
min turbo oil pressure hot idle 5psi min flow of .1 gpm
min turbo oil pressure at load 25 psi min flow of .5gpm
max turbo oil pressure 70psi
And there is a digram with a .055-.065 restrict or
but this is very set up specific .
hey were is the factory oil pressure sensor anyhow .??
It might make sense to get the turbo oil feed further down the oil track at lower pressure like from the rail in the head .

reason is that a regular bearing requires a flow of oil so it has a film to glide on, with bb you barely need more than a few drops to lubricate the *****. also therefore the BB needs watercooling as it has very little flow of oil to cool it. on the goodside tha means lower oilemp

That, and also because our cars have twice the oil pressure than 90% of other turbo cars. KKK are designed for this higher pressure, Garret turbos are not.

So using above discussion, what does everyone think the restriction should be on a std cartridge Garrett?

I was initially going to run a 46 jet in there.

Anyone have one done that has lasted w/o any trouble
