Default Dyno graphs for 3.4 lt 16 valve

Here are the dyno tables for the 3.4lt 16 valve engine we discussed at the end of the 3.0 lt turbo 16 valve. One of the tables is from Jan 3, 2006. It was done at 16 psi peak boost without boost controller settling at close to 15 psi constant and gave 488.4 peak rear wheel hp. The other graph is from this past july. It was done at 10.44 psi settling at around 9.xx psi and produced 433 rwhp. Again no boost controller for comparison purposes as I was trying to correlate hp gain vs psi boost. Both were done with a mixture of 50% racing/street gasoline even though I usually use the car on the street with 93 oct pump gas. I added a couple of photos of the pistons and rods as well as the crankshaft and the car.
Hope this helps.

Angel

Angel, I believe you thought the crank was custom or do you just mean customized?

I meant modify as knifeedge and lighten and somehow modify in conjuction with the rods and pistons for 93 mm stroke. Don't know how. Anyone knows what kind of rod is the one in the photo? I believe they were sold by Powerhouse but not sure who manufactured them.

Holy ****loads of crazy ballbusting torque batman!

Out of curiosity, why are you only running it up to 3.5k rpm? Is it merely because it's a huge 4-cyl motor or is it for some other reason?

Very impressive -- congrats!

On the first graph, the a/f ratio looks dangerously lean around 5k rpms.

The second dyno graph you have to multiply the rpms by a factor of 2 and divide the torque numbers by two. It goes up to 6800rpms and torque is 737/2= 369 ft-lbs torque. For some uknown reason the dyno operator used half the scale like that. It does not affect the results.

some tuning and a boost controller and this could be a power monster.

Awesome build. Don't want to see it damaged.
