My car is still for sale with a new price $13999 OBO
This was a race prepared car when i bought it a year ago. I bought the car with 20 miles since the engine was rebuild by TRE motorsport. They installed a 3.0L crankshaft Mahle pistons and Carillo rods. Piston squirters in the galleys on S block, new piston rings, main bearing, road bearings,Speed Force Racing Stage one headers, Turbonetics T3/T4 turbo. All work and parts from TRE $13500. From Lindsey Racing i have hard pipe kit $400, weltmeister front and rear sway bar kit,Camber plates and strut bar $1650. AEM wide band $585, 3" exhaust system $559, Siemens 72lb injectors $400 and AC delete $170.JIC coil over suspension $2890. SPEC Stage 2 clutch bought for $464 retail $799. Speed Force Racing 46mm taill wastegate $550. Autopower full roll cage, i use just half of it for everyday $676. Autopower 5 point belts $152, Fiberglass sunroof $100, Momo Steering wheel, hub and sparco quick release $645. Large Oil Cooler $400, Big Red Calipers $1200. $2500 limited slip differential with trans. $1500 GT2 cloth seat. And Vitesse MAF Kit $1500. I think that i also have upgraded intercooler but not sure. The car makes around 340RWHP with pump gas 15psi boost and i have been told by Mike at lindsey that it should develop more than 440RWHP 21-22psi. I have bought this car with the intention to race it but never got around it. I have driven it with race gas on 20psi and it flys. It spins on third gear. It is a beast. This car is no joke, it does not have traction control neither ABS. I have all the invoices on the work performed and the upgraded parts. I have owned many high-end cars but non of them handled nor stoped like the 944. I have one passenger seat that comes with the car but it has to be bolted. Please note the milige on the TRE invoice that the engine was totaly rebuild 8900 miles ago.

I would like to see a dyno sheet, not because of the power output but because of the way it was tuned.

Your car is not worth more than $ 10000.00, add all the receipts you want but everybody here knows that 951's are modded for fun not for resale value. Your best option is to part it out or restore it to stock and sell the mods separately.

if you don't believe me, just check this thread:

Only worth $10K? HA! I have to disagree completely with that. A good condition stock 951 with 100K+ miles and no major problems is worth at least $6000; so the completely rebuilt motor, headers, turbo, exhaust, maf, wastegate, rollcage, injectors, seat, cage, coilovers, sway bars, big reds, etc are only worth $4k?

Everyone knows you don't get much money back out from mods, but that is a very extensive list. To the thread starter, thats a nice car and a decent price, I wouldn't drop it much if at all.

I have a very similar car w/ similar power & mileage. I'm curious what you can get for this.

Dude, he's 56 years old and takes Geritol one-a-days!

Seriously - you might be a little high on the price.

My dear hybrider, if you sell that car in parts you'll get over 15k easy but not as a whole. Prove me wrong.

This is the total for parting my car, minus the tranny and the speed force racing stage II headers and I had way more expensive mods than him.

LR MAF, SFR Stg II headers, #55 Injectors, AEM WB, Chips, LR fuel pump, AFPR, Hard Pipes, Forge BOV, LR T04e Super 61 polished, SFR DP, X-over & test pipe, MBC, 38mm Tial, 3” Exhaust, M030 bars, Bilstein Coilovers w/hypercoil springs,17" C2's, KEP pp, 930 clutch, LSD TRANNY.

hybrider? ...whatever

I remember when tedwright sold his old car that had a very similar spec sheet (rebuilt engine, wastegate, exhaust, turbo, maf, inj, etc etc) - his asking price was 10K because he needed to offload it quick and it was sold almost as soon as he posted the FS thread. This car has a very similar set of engine mods as well as a very nice suspension set up and brakes, so I see no reason why this car could not easily sell for 12-14K given just a little bit of time. I could be wrong, but I think this car is easily worth the asking price.

i also think the price is alittle steep - car is very nice dont get me wrong and its worth whatever someone will pay- but with the interior in soso/ half stripped half race w/ cracked up dashboard- you narrow your field of buyers. I dont say this to be mean but just as a realist.

Lart if you buy all the 944's in the country and part them out, there won't be any customers for the parts anymore. But then again, maybe they'd be so rare that everyone would want to piece them all back together and you'd have a gold mine..oh never mind.

I wouldn't mind buying his car for me, I have been without a modded 951 for 6 weeks and I am not feeling too well.
