general question...
I haven't done the drive from Orlando to Melbourne in a LONG time. How long is the drive, and what is the best route. I may be buying another restaurant there.
TIA

To Orlando... probably 45 mins or so ... 95 north, 528 west (528 comes in around Cocoa, 528 will take you in south of downtown and just north of the airport)

You gonna get a place that has wings?... "Tommy love wingy"

More of a Steakhouse and sports bar combo, with a nice Dock. I'm still working on the menu. We shall see, but if we do wings, they will be like nothing you've seen before. It will be very Florida ( native Floridian) with tremendous food and service. So casual, fun, but with a great wine list and menu.
That's the goal.
We'll see how negotiations go.

+1 on the great avatar, drift-ah!

Keef,

We will have the best damned steaks in Melborne, as well as a SERIOUS hand ground burger! So you don't need to worry about seafood! I may or may not throw my hat into the ring on this project. I'm not sure. I'd have to come out of retirement, and I swore I'd never get back into the business, but it sure would pay for my new engine. We shall see.
If I do get into it, I'll plan a GTG, and a special drive in deal for all the Porsche folks who want to come down.

ehall, sounds like a great place. I know little about the restaurant business other than it must be tough, and I love finding excellent ones (I'm a bit of bit of a foodie). And it also sounds like it would be a great place for some future GTG's!

I went to the kaffee Klatsch" meet and greet this morning and had a really nice time. A great variety of cars from several 356 all the way up to a CGT and everything in between. I took a few pics, I have not looked to see if any are decent enough to post...

Good time this morning Kevin. Here are some photos, but only 1 944 & 1 968, couple of other interesting cars, though, and about 500K worth of immaculatel 356's. They are pretty!

It was Sat morning, and was a PCA sponsored/organized gathering. The owner of the CGT is putting together the one at the end of the month (Sat May 31, in Lk Mary).

Nice pics Chips, no need for me to post any because my pics are nearly the same! That silver 356 was as awesome as the CGT.

Hey Steve, congrats on the sell! Guess what, I saw the new owner driving it this morning up Wekiva Springs Rd. right near my home. At first I was thinking, wait a sec, I didnt think Steve lived up here? But as the car got closer I noticed the driver looked different, and the rear tag was orange? What's an orange tag mean?

Do you know where the new owner lives? And do you have his email or phone number? I'd like to invite him to the next 944 meet if possible...

Tell us about your latest project!
