In all seriousness, the compressor is a 6 blade judging by that pic, so I'd tend to suspect it's another Precision Garrett-based turbo. The stage 5 turbine is a bit overkill though for under 500whp but, whatever works is all that really matters.

i prefer a coke or a jack can as the size reference in the turbo pic that could be a zoolander cel phone

That is the LR Sport/Super 53 next to the original KKK 26 in my Avatar for size reference.

So if you had the option to go to a K27/8 or a super 53 what's the better turbo, looking for good spool and 325-350hp

It wasn't my car. But, now that I started to search for archives I found these:

I ran last summer with the 53 and have been quite pleased. The rest of the car is literally stock with upgraded plumbing and in 9 track days, some autocross, and several multi hour drives i am quite happy with it.

Awesome, thanks for the pic. I have one on order, hope to have it in by mid-March, can't wait! Super 53, DBB, Stage 5, water cooled.
Is that the Lindsey down pipe as well?

That is a LR downpipe. I've owned both versions of downpipe from them. V-band and 4 bolt.

Go with the Super 53. More modern design, less lag and 325-350 is not a problem as long as you have the appropriate supporting bits and pieces.
