Default how does my crankshaft look (changing the rod bearings)

Thought I would post a pic of the crankshaft and on of the rod bearings to make sure all is good. Looks good to me but just want to be sure.

Dude - not for nothing...
You have to post some better pics to get the answer you are looking for.
Did you take those standing on the dishwasher or something?

Unless you have excessive scoring on the bearing or crank surfaces (which you would notice), the only way to conclusively determine the status of these parts is to accurately measure the space in between the crank and the bearing surfaces (to the thousandths of inch). Go buy some Plastigauge from a local parts store or machine shop...it's cheap, very easy to use, and will help you determine your next step (install factory spec bearings vs. over sized bearings vs. machine or buy new crank).

Not busting your nuts here but you should put some rubber hose over the rod bolts. The crank is relatively soft and if it comes in contact with the rod bolts it will gouge it.

yea I couldn't get a good clear pic of either. There is no scoring on either surface and they are both perfectly smooth so can I just replace with some more standard size bearings

You can't tell by looks, if it needs standard bearings. You need to measure. Follow Turboted's post.

Buy and use some Plastigage at your local NAPA store.

You can also take your crank to a machine shop and they can check it with a microcrometer, should be quick & cheap.
