Default Charcoal gray 944 turbo?

Did Porsche build any charcoal gray 944 turbo's in 1986?
Is there any way I can tell the options that came with a 944 turbo (or at least the original color) based on the VIN #?

Thanks

Mine is gray and an 86. you can tell what color its supposed to be from the paint code which is behind the carpet in the hatch area

It's a chart from 1988 about the Turbo S cars, but the colors didn't change except for new additions (correct me if I'm wrong). Looks like Stone Grey is the closest to charcoal that they had back then.

I wonder if Almond is some code name for something else.
Like Pearl White or something...

In 1986 they either came in Graphite, as in the pics above, or Stone Gray, as in my Avatar. The code for Stone Gray is LY7U. You can find a car's color code on a silver sticker next to the fuse box (many of these have disappeared over the years), on the option sticker under the hatch carpet next to one of the tail lights, or on the option sticker pasted inside the warranty book in the owner's manual folder.

I actually saw an Almond for sale on ebay a while back. It was a neat cream color.
