Yes using Perfect Bore Nikasil plated bores.

Thanks for the heads up 2bridges. I am always very diligent about sizing rings to bores. It is so easy to rush into things and then you have plenty of time to repent at your leisure!!

I will be interested to see what bore wear is as there should be less tension on the rings as Chris White pointed out.

I herd from the Piston guru that pressure is trapped between first and second ring so only use gapless top ring . And some one else says file backs

Anytime u like, not quite finished, just need to fit 044 pump before going to dyno for mapping. Other little jobs just keep popping up, but should be done soon!

I have seen posts on here that EBS recommends only using the Total Seal on the 2nd ring.

Total seal has developed a gapless top ring that will work with turbos - it was not availalbe until about 6 months ago. Before that even total seal did not recommend a gapless top ring for turbo use.
