omg what the **** is going on here children.
I didn't think there was any bad blood going on here. Props to both drivers for coming out and beating down the 1/4. Its one thing to talk about it, its another to actually do it. I've only taken my car to the strip 4 times and I still broke a cv with brand new axels. its not easy ragging the **** outta your car from a stop.
I think both cars did well although im very surprised by tools trap speed. He must have been spinning alot. ET's? I could care less honestly. On the street its all about trap speed. Props to tms for bringing proper tires and making good use of his power. He won its not a big deal. Why is everyone crying so much?
And no disrespect but, where the **** is the video. We all really really wanna see it. Im hoping to see more outta both cars in the future. props to all involved. Maybe this thread will help spread some knowledge and we can all learn something new.
Have a coke and a smile.

I have never seen ST drive but a few have made negative comments about his driving. Is Tool out of shape? To be a good competition driver you have to be in shape physically and mentally. The exception are the old time drivers like Fittipaldi Snr, Stirling Moss, Lauda, Derick Bell who have such experience they can fall back on. This still counts for nothing on a quarter mile though. You have to be fit, alert and know your powerbands so you don't bog out and the other side, you DONT SPIN your wheels excessively.
Yes Slicks may have helped. However if his wheels were spinning that much maybe his right foot was a bit heavy? Only Tool knows
ST this is not a pop at you mate. As I said I haven't seen you drive and driving is such an emotive subject I wouldn't pass comment in a public forum
Good luck to both of you on the rematch

Grats on making the run happen, guys.
It can't be stated enough how impressed I am that you gentlemen took the race to the track. With the exception of a few users who have come and since gone, I'm always impressed with the respect the enthusiasts on this board show for the people around them. Building fast cars is worth nothing if you put other people's lives at risk.
