I did 13 at 124 MPH.
Two runs.
He did 13.4 at 112
and 12.4 at 115
He was on slicks, I was on real street tires (the kind that go 50,000 miles)
I spun ALL THE WAY DOWN THE TRACK both times.
Yes I gave him a little **** at first when I saw the R compounds.
Escorts and street tires do not go well at the drag strip.
Not really too bothered - first time ever for me AND my 951 at the dragstrip.
Thinking about some slicks and see what it will do.
I did 13 at 124 MPH.

He did 13.4 at 112
and 12.4 at 115

We ran each other twice. Tool did better round one I did better round two.
I ran a 12.228@115.18mph. 1.926 60' and 7.967@91.6mph for the 1/8th.
tool ran a 13.251@123.7mph. 2.162 60' and 9.041@92.39for the 1/8th.
this was our second run.
First run:
I ran a 13.430@112.19mph. 2.355 60' and 9.014@86.86mph for the 1/8th.
Tool ran a 13.018@12.02mph. 2.147 60' and 8.77@94.23mph.
I crossed the finish line first in both runs. First run i crossed the finish line .932sec befor tool and in the second race I crossed the finish line1.183 sec befor tool.
Reno ha footage and a kid at the track came up to me and said he had footageand would email it to me, we'll see. My friend who was there also took a video clip on his phone, we'll see how it turns out.
The video and images of the time slips should be coming soon. I am not home tonight and have no way to post the time slips, sorry.

I guess it shows that he does have some power considering a Z06 traps at 127mph. I forgot what the E.T. for a Z06 was (not 11.7 is it, or 12.7?).
I was thinking someone would break under 12.1 if not even 12 flat.

13.2 @ 124mph???!?!!!! Sounds like you need some more practice there buddy. I hope you weren't running full boost as there really isn't any reason you shouldn't be hitting the 130's. ET's are all launch, which can take practice to get a good consistent one down. Mph is usually a much more consistent indicator of how fast a car is. Slap some BFG DR's on there and F those axles up!

well give the man a trophy , TMS has won round 1....
TMS your car ran 91 mph in the 1/8 and only 112 for the full 1/4, it would seem you are losing power on the top end.. I would check into that ...

I'm at work on strengthening the axles at the shop.. I will make this happen.
MPH is a little low, but I guess when there's NO. Traction.
ST..... I told you so... Street tires won't work. I LOVE that you went. Keep it up and pave the way. Your MPH is now THE fastest with a time slip. (Not worried that one will pop up soon)

TMS... No wait. Top end is fine. With a 60' like yours I was running 12.3 @116mph in my NSX.
Sounds right to me with all that good stick... TMS you seem to have the starts down. Awesome Job. Although I did expect a little faster MPH with 417WHP. Something around 120 Should be the speed.

Of course I had only had the car for a month, and it is my first manual, and my first attempt at racing a manual, and had two bad clutch cylinders, etc, etc.

HAHA- don't worry....
I am getting Nittos and maybe run LESS boost, a few more runs (like more than 2 ) - new goal is to get the 951 into the 10's over 140 MPH.
