Nope, it's 968 with the larger center intake (Turbo S) and filled headlight holes and larger turn signal holes (probably brake ducting).

Pretty much on it. If you look closely, you can tell it's fiberglass. Basically one big piece (Hood/Bumper/Splitter). It is a one-off piece, the car owner got the mold with the purchase of the car and had it in his garage. I am pretty sure the mold was made using the 968 as a template though.

Yes that's what I thought it looked strange and one off. There is a similarity to a Mazda and that nose cone looks shorter than a 968 to me but maybe it's the angle. If it's a tube frame maybe it is shorter?

This thread has kinda died so I am going to keep it going.

Here is a good one from Road Atlanta PCA club racing this year. The pics are too large to upload and I cannot resize them at work so click on the links.

This is my favorite:

Here we see a 951 leading the field from the start to a 7 second lead in less than five laps. And yes the engine in the car makes 510@ 1 bar.

Couple of questions. Not knowing your racing series very well, what sort of cars was the dark blue 'Ground effects' car against and the picture showing it in the lead of the pack, was that indicative of where it placed in the field?
Secondly, what would be the choices for a good widebody kit say like the red one just pictured. Obviously there is GT and maybe AIR, is there any others out there that people can recommend?

Yeah as if the beatings at RA were not bad enough it has been decided to build a 2.6L to run in GT-3. Oh and use a 16 valve head. We should be able to squeeze another 100hp out of it. This thing is going to be stupid........

GT-3 is a PCA class that is limited to 3.4L in displacement. For turbocharged engines like us it the actual engine displacement times a 1.3 multiplier. So for a 2.6 we end up with 3.38L.

We are also upgrading the M4 to a M880. 4D fuel and timing graphs!!
