OK guys. Here is your chance to hone your skills at Nelson Ledges to get ready for this years 944Fest. I am the rookie event chair for the Northern Ohio Region PCA DE at Nelson June 2 - 3, and I would like to see a nice 944 contingency out there. Applications are available for download here:

For those of you who have never been to Nelson Ledges, it is a heck of a lot of fun. Not the prettiest track around, and certainly doesn't have the status to compare to Watkins Glen or Mid-Ohio, but it is the fastest 2 mile track in the country, and has a very nice rhythm to it – easy to learn but very difficult to master. Lots of history and the 944 Turbo made it US track debut at Nelson Ledges at the hands of Freddy Baker who went on to win a whole slew of SCCA titles in a 951.
