I guess I should say ecstatic! It's been about two weeks since installing my Tial wastegate. So far I have been floored (
) with the difference it has made. Boost comes on so much sharper than it ever has. I still have some roll-off at 5000+ RPM but I guess that is due to the K26/6 turbo. Anyway, my butt tells me I'm making somewhere close to 400whp now! Okay, no. But really, this is definitely something I should have done long ago!
A couple observations: prior to install I was getting 17-18psi regularly in any gear, then it would roll off to as low as 11psi, depending on the gear. Higher gears roll off is more since I would be in those gears longer than 1st, 2nd and even 3rd. Post install, the needle on my aftermarket VDO gauge nails up at 15psi and then eventually rolls off in the 3rd gear or higher. Sometimes in 4th and espescially 5th gear I can get it to go to 17psi. I didn't adjust anything with my accuboost.
Second observation is that I hear my turbo or some kind of "whine" quite a bit more now. I didn't know what the wastegate would have anything to do with hearing the turbo. I should point out that we damaged one of the nipples on my CV so we bypassed it. I don't find any vacuum leaks or anything open that would give me any extra noise though.
I plan to adjust my accuboost some to get me back to a solid 18psi as that is what my chips were mapped for. I think I'm running rich now. The funny thing is that I would have thought that I would have to turn down the boost after installing the Tial since the stock wg bleeds boost. Can someone give me some insight on that?

I installed a 46mm Tial on my 951 a while ago, and am extremely happy with it as well.
Coupled with a Blitz SBC ID Color, I get a rock solid 15psi in every gear.

Danny boy,
You need to get a ZT2 with egt and afr datalog at 18 psi with your turbocharger exhaust side/chip combination - now that you have this wastegate.
You can forego the egt option if your budget will permit the "Link Knockblock" 0-5 trace to be plugged into the extra ZT2 channel.
ASAP.

ooooo- i have a zt2 i never thought of putting the knock block on there- that would be cooool. My Tial 38 holds boost as long as you hold your foot into it currently around 13.5psi any gear just hold it and itll sit right there.
