Hey, the design and casting was done by some mates up north... I dont really have the skill to do custom casting myself. I can ask them specific questions if you have any in mind though.

I just looked up the power figures to compare to a 928... the stock 4.5L Porsche V8 (219HP) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_928)

And the 4.0L Toyota V8 (290HP) I have the 1UZFE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_UZ_engine)

So over 70HP more in the Toyota and .5L less displacement... not too shabby considering the Toyota V8 is just a taxi motor I paid NZD1100 for (USD700)

haha thanks "Supra"

Some Supra widebody eye candy. This is a "TOP SECRET" Supra with a 3SGTE in it (2.2 from 2.0), making 700WHP from memory.

The BOV's I got from Kevin (thanks mate), and workshop cat enjoying putting fur on my spare race seat!

Now, here is one of the two turbos going on the 1UZ, its a Garrett T28. Its a 60 trim with .50 compressor AR and get this... .86 Turbine AR! This was a factory turbo on the Nissan GTI-R SR20DET. Should have good HP potential. I like that the inlet and oulet on the compressor cover have a bolt flange

Well the motor is now running!

Things left to do before its on the road:

Spacer for the hydraulic release bearing
Drive shaft shorten
Exhaust from headers
Clutch line and bleeder
Gearbox cross member
Tuning

Cant wait, sounds awesome.

Yeah pretty much the same chassis. The 1UZ V8 is lighter than the 2JZ 6 pot that came out Being all alloy helps.

The V8 soarers are all auto, but the 1JZ's came in manual, I have one of their gearboxes...

As for the weight, the roof, hatch and bonnet are all lightweight alloy, the bumpers are reinforced plastic. Most of the weight is in the chassis, kinda needs to be this weight to handle massive power on the open road I guess. It will be around 1350kg once done.

Drive shaft lengthened and balanced,

I modified the cross member to fit, now bolted up

Exhaust is finished.

Just clutch setup and tuning to go
