I have the factory spoiler in the garage, I am kinda going for a DTM look

So was the stock 2JZ the N/A motor then? I find it amazing that the MKIV was so much bigger than the III and yet it is lighter...cool.

Good luck! Thanks to Fast and the Furious those cars now go for ~$20-30k for one in decent condish!
Yes it was NA. I dont think I would pull a GTE motor out to do this! Couldnt do it, the GTE motor is awesome really.

Awesoem project. How much heavier is the V-8? Couldn't be much with the straight 6 from that car being an iron block.
The V8 is lighter than the 2J Its all alloy...

Thats what I was thinking. More power, more torque, and less weight. Very nice. Which way do you have to move the shifter?

Well very easily, much more easily than buying a turbo version! These were Toyotas flagship GT cars, pretty expensive!

Can you post up more on the design and manufacture of the bellhousing? I am getting really interested in casting right now, have been doing sandcasting work for the past couple of weeks.

He loves being the workshop manager. But he has one of those magnetic door opening collars and nuts and bolts get stuck to it! I often see him walking around with a big *** bolt stuck to his collar! I lose so many parts that way I am convinced!
